About: Dr. Ambethkar Suprent, M. ASLP, Ph.D., is the Professor and Head of the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology with over 20 years of experience in teaching, clinical practice, research, and academic leadership in India and the United States. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the All-India Institute of Speech and Hearing, University of Mysore, a Master's degree (M. ASLP) from the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Hearing Handicapped, University of Mumbai, and a Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. As Head of the Department, he leads academic planning, curriculum development, faculty development, clinical services, and research initiatives while promoting excellence in education and patient care. Dr. Ambethkar Suprent specializes in the field of swallowing and vocology. with valuable national and international clinical experience at Hospitals and Nursing Home Facilities in India and California, USA. He has guided numerous postgraduate dissertations, published research in peer-reviewed Scopus-indexed journals, and presented scientific papers at national conferences. He is licensed by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.

About: Professional journey included delivering services to clients across the lifespan – from pediatrics to geriatrics, teaching and mentoring students in academic institutions, developing and implementing telerehabilitation protocols in private practice, and providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic clinical services in government healthcare settings focusing on quality of life of patients. With a strong interest in clinical research, continued professional education& training and advocate of using AAC. She is trained in *OPT Level 1 and PROMPT – Bridging, and actively integrate evidence-based practices into both therapy and teaching. Key focus of work is student capacity building through hands-on clinical training, workshops, and research mentorship, with the goal of fostering competent, ethical, and research-oriented professionals.

About: Ms. Bhuvaneshwari Raju is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at the School of Rehabilitation and Behavioural Sciences (SRBS). She holds a Master's degree in Audiology from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, and a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) from SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. Her academic and clinical expertise includes newborn hearing screening, comprehensive audiological and electrophysiological assessment, hearing aid and cochlear implant rehabilitation, community-based hearing healthcare, clinical training, and evidence-based audiological practice. She has actively contributed to hearing screening programmes, outreach services, parent counselling, and undergraduate and postgraduate clinical education. Her research interests include cochlear implants, electrophysiological audiology, newborn hearing screening, and community-based rehabilitation (CBR). She is committed to advancing excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and research to improve hearing healthcare and communication outcomes.

He is deeply passionate about teaching, fostering evidence-based clinical practice and compassionate patient care. He strongly advocates for the early detection of hearing loss, recognizing that timely identification and intervention are essential for optimizing speech, language, cognitive, and social development, particularly in infants and young children. Through his clinical, academic, research, and community engagement, he is committed to advancing hearing healthcare and improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairment.
